I think I have a new favorite target shooting bullet for my Kim CII, I picked up a 500 bullet box of 200 grain Better Bullets SWC hardcast lead, the Kimber had *NO* problems feeding them, perfect, 100% feed and eject, I'm using 4.9 grains of Win 231, and they work great

I love the sharp holes they cut in the paper, a definite difference from the 230 grain hardcasts I used previously

I was a little worried about the Kimber being too fussy and having fits trying to feed them, but my fears were unfounded, the SWC is a great target shooting bullet :)

All of my 1911's feed SWC just fine. 99% of what I shoot is LSWC's. I like them a lot. If you want to see a nice hole, try 38 Spl. with 148 gr. DEWC. They leave a hole that looks like it was made with a paper hole punch cutter.:D

I've shot over 2000 200gr lswc in my Kimber Custom Defender II with no problem.5.1gr Trail Boss or 5.4gr AA#2.

I shot bullseye competition for many years and the only bullet i ever used was a hard cast 200 ge LSWC over a load of Bullsye. As you have found out that bullet is an excellent one and also makes an excellent SD round with a heavy dose of Unique. As a lot of us oldtimers found out is that quite a few Govt. Model 1911's would not feed this bullet well unless throated, since the 1911 was designed around the 230 gr FMJ bullet. Since then, all newer and custom guns are set up for this popular bullet. Roger's Better Bullets are an excellent choice for any type of shooting. An excellent product. :)
