I just won $100

I was at the range this afternoon with a buddy sighting in my new .30-06. Finished that up and moved on to my AR-15. At 300 yards we set a 4" granite counter top remnant we found on top of a cinder block. My buddy said he would give me $100 if I could hit it at 300 yards offhand with open sights.

Keep in mind I have mildly crappy eyes, I just had memory to work off of on where that danged thing was, I could not see it at all. One shot, dropped that thing! My buddy was cussing up a storm from behind the spotting scope. Pure luck!

I have friends that i bet with in a very competitive manner, and then i have the good friends that i bet with just for kicks and grins... i have a lot better relationship with those who just wanna have fun... but its all give and take. i probly would have given the money back and let him buy me a coke or somthing like that...
