My buddy got a new CETME.
It came with a bunch of Hk G3 Mags and a few CETME mags.
We shot it with a G3 mag and it would not feed, brass (or rather commie steel cases) came out pretty mangled as long as the mag was in.
Not so when shooting one at a time without the magazine.
We wish we could try with a CETME mag, but left those at the house.
Should the CETME work with the G3 mags or not?
Upon dissasembly we noticed that the extractor pin that keeps the extractor in place was broken. I guess it is true that it does not need the extractor to extract due to the fluted camber? It even ejected.
Any good sources for a new extractor pin?
Accuracy was rather poor - we aimed at a target 100 yards away and hit the dirt at 50 yards with the 100, 200 and 300 m settings.
Stopped further testing. Any thoughts?
