I'm sure you all remember me posting about going to Wal-mart about a month ago to put a Winchester '94 Trail's end. Through out the month, I called to see if it was in because I couldn't wait to get it and it never was. I figured that they waiting for me to pay it off before ordering it. I went to pay it off today to find out that they couldn't get it because thay were out of stock. Well, I was just going to cancell the layaway (which I did) and put a chekard stocked 1894C on layaway instead (which I didn't). Instead I got my 200.00 back and decided to go to Big-5. Low and behold, they had their smooth stocked 1894C's for 319.00. I was going to buy a lever action .357/.38 today if it killed me. I ended up walking out of Big-5 with the 1894C for less that 350.00 OTD and have no regrets. I can't wait to get it out to the range. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with those sights though. I'm either going to go with a AO ghost ring or an AO Lever scout scope mount with a low powered scoce. We'll see
