chaim,
I know its not on your list but right now Ruger is giving $40 rebates on their P95's You should be able to get one now NIB for about $250.

The 3913 is a favorite of mine. I find myself liking single-stack 9mm pistols more and more, one reason being that it's easier to carry a spare magazine. Nice and flat. The 908 would also fit the bill, and I like the single-side safety lever.

I also might be leaving MD in about a year, so I also have begun thinking about a CCW weapon. If I move it'll be to the hellishly hot South, so I was thinking about a Kel-Tec P32 for summer, and maybe a Makarov or small Glock for winter. Just a thought for now!

Not in the Baltimore area, to the best of my knowledge. I paid $400 for my P97. (But I did get the $40 rebate).

They might go for that much on the internet, though.

BTW, love my P97!

My wife and I have three kahrs, k9, k40, and mk9. Never a malfunction out of any of them, as someone else said they are stellar.
I have a cz pcr and a sig225 also and they are both excellent, but compared to the kahrs they are large guns.
A buddy of mine has S&W chief specials in both 9 and 45 and he loves them, once again I prefer my kahrs.
All that being said, alot of the time I carry my ruger sp101.
Happy shopping;) ........tom

I won the auction for the S&W 908 I bid on. Of course this isn't the end of it. It was a decent enough price and available but I am still very interested in some or all of my original choices. I'll probably get some more of my choices very soon (especially the Smiths since they are very readily available and pretty inexpensive on the used gun market) and in the next couple years I'll probably try out (as in buy and maybe sell later) half or more of them.

Um, I said small carry sized autos. I had a Ruger P89 and that was anything but small, and my biggest issue would be the width if I would be to try to carry one. The P95 is a tad bit shorter and it is a little lighter being polymer but it is everybit as wide.

Oh, around here the cheapest I've seen a P95 is around $350-400.

I may very well get one eventually, and in a pinch it probably could be carried, but to me it doesn't fit the definition of small or carriable (for me width is likely going to be the most important criteria for that).
