fellas... i would like to acquire a 10 mm and a 38 super, in no particular order (or at the same time... whatever).

i keep hoping to find a colt delta, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards. so what options, aside from glock, do i have for 10 mm? i'd like a 5-ish inch barrel, if that's possible.

2nd, i would like to find a 38 super. i haven't a clue as to what is out there and who makes it, prices, etc. would like some assistance here, too. i'm not real critical on barrel length on this one. something in the 4 - 6" range will be fine.

in both cases, mags must be pretty easy to find, and relatively inexpensive (meaning i don't want to special order something from an obscure manufacturer, pay a ton, and then have to wait months...). oh, doesn't hurt for the guns to be aesthetically pleasing, either!

appreciate any help!

I know very little about .38super other than they pretty much own portions of competative shooting. Here is my question for you

if that is true what draws you to buying a .38 super

I picked up a Springfield 1911 38super used for $395. Metalform mags are cheap, reliable and available. I fit a 9mm barrel to the slide and now I can shoot both out that gun. I've heard good things about Rock Island Armory as well. The super is a nice round that's a joy to shoot. I have no experience with 10mm can't help you there.

thanks for the help, fellas!

kd - i want a 38 super because i don't have one. sorry i don't have anything more profound than that, but that's really it.

Sweet deal. I wish I had discovered the .38 Super years ago, instead of just a year or so ago. :)

I own a NIB Delta Elite, investment, not fired. A S&W 1006, It's a tank, good shooter, very nice pistol. I daily carry a Glock 29, tritium sights/grip reduction - not very glamorous, but it works. I Like, but do not own the Dan Wesson, also like/not own the Kimber 10mm.
Ammo is not cheap but is available in a variety of flavors. Double Tap 180 grain is my usual choice.
MM
PS- I also love 38 super, great old cartridge. I do not currently own a shooter, but do have a NIB Custom Shop bright stainless Colt.
