Just bought a HK P2000 and I'm looking for suggestions on a good holster for it. I'm primarily looking for an IWB and either Pancake or Paddle Style OWB. I'm left handed as well but most holsters can be ordered either or. Any help from those who carry a P2000 or just have a good suggestion is much appreciated

Congrats

Great pistol!
I'm an HK fan my self.
I bought a Don Hume IWB leather holster on e-bay for about $35 and I love it.

For well made, good quality, regular commercially available holsters, as opposed to customs made, try Don Hume, Bianchi, or DeSantis.

some nice reccomendations guys. Now I just have to decide which to buy. I've been looking pretty seriously at Galco. I have about a month till my CCW permit will arrive but i'd like to have a nice rig to wear around the house to get used to it and figure the best way to carry for me.

Which Galco are you looking at? They have quality products but they are a little on the expensive side. That's why I like DeSantis and Don Hume products instead. They are comparable in quality but not as expensive.

A couple I am somewhat interested in are the NSA II

I'm not sure. I'm mostly interested in IWB for right now. although I do want an OWB later for when I'm at my cabin and not concerned about concealing. or during the winter as well.

I'm a big Comp-tac fan as well. I use both the Comptac settable cant for OWB and Infidel for IWB to carry a P2000.

For leather, Milt Spark's 60TK OWB highride and VMII would work great. The Summer Special II is excellent as well.

Yes on both counts. The molding to the contours of the gun is very detailed, even having a reverse impression of the slide serrations on the inside of the body shield. The leather is fairly thin but very stiff. Although it doesn't have a reinforced mouth, it doesn't collapse in normal use (e.g., under normal belt pressure, after sitting in a chair or vehicle seat) and the gun is easy to reholster. I would put this work up against any of the more famous, expensive and long wait makers. :) (Not that I have anything against them, in fact I want to acquire some.)
