7K-10K is nothing for some of the HK’s I’ve seen and just a warm up. My usp 45 compact has more than 25K rounds through it with only mag springs and the rsa replaced. I’ve put a tad over 15K through it, but the previous owner put more than 10K through it before me and didn’t replace anything. I have a friend who runs a gun shop in southwest Ohio who has a p2000 in 40 s&w that had over 20K rounds through it years ago with original parts except 2 rsa’s that he replaced promptly every 10K. A coworker of mine has a p30 in 9mm that he says he has 30K rounds through with just new mags. I believe him because he reloads constantly and is always buying brass, even when he is out of town waiting for the next train home. Hk pro forum has tons of guys with high round count HK’s. If I owned 4 or 5 guns that are the same make and all were broken within 7K-10K rounds I’d personally look at another option or replace all springs right before the 7k mark. That many HK’s failing before 11,000 rounds is kind of disheartening in my eyes. And yes I know if you shoot enough any gun will fail, but 4 or 5 at that low round count is still not good for a world renowned combat firearms weapon maker. Good luck to you with those HK’s.We get along just fine, I simply shoot them a lot and don't baby them.
