Mine has a DOB of 1994 but I think it was lightly used. I agree that the python is a work of art and think the price can only go up if I had to sell it.(that won't happen). Buy it, shoot it, keep it forever.

went down today to get the python, and missed it by about 20 minutes. more's the pity - won't be so slow next time.

wife picked up a new s&w m&p in 40, though - so it was a good day, inspite of not coming home w/ the python.
