I "Need" an FAL...Help!

Hey all,
Well, I used to be a frequent poster here. About three years ago, I bought a DSA StG58 Carbine and got it all "Izzied" up. In a breif period of clouded judgement, I sold it (dumbass). Well, I've decided I NEED to have an FAL! Now, what I want is an 18" carbine with a chrome lined bore (which I'll eventually "Izzy" up again). I want one of great quality (nothing "iffy"). Where do you recommend I start looking? DSA doesn't make a chrome lined FAL carbine do they? Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Why not another Stg-58?

I assume the new kit ban will eliminate those soon enough, but surely they are not all gone quite yet?

Personally though, I prefer the DSA barrel because of the .308 chamber, which allows you to shoot .308 and surplus x51 with no worries.

Another StG is a front runner, but I really want a chrome lined barrel. Any ideas?

I thought the StG's did come with chrome lined barrels.

No, I believe only the chamber is chrome lined.

In that case, I can't help you... the StG-58's kit barrel was the only one that I thought was chrome lined.

There are plenty of FAL guys on this board though; I'm sure they will chime in shortly.
