My name is Hondo and I'm a caliber addict.
The last 5 or 6 guns I bought all shoot multiple calibers.
A 327 Fed Mag will shoot 5 calibers 327, 32H&R, 32 S&W Long,. 32 S&W & 32 ACP
I have dies & stuff for all of them.

My FIL gave me a 25ACP, I'm trying to see if I cam shoot another 25 cal :what:

Lol you guys, are all adding firearms I'm reduceing my collection down to 4 rifles 6,shotguns & 4,pistols my wife & I just don't shoot as much as we used to
If it sits the gun safe for more then a month without being shot then down the road it goes
Something guns are good to look at and Brass can start a great imagery story in your head….

600 Nitro Express! I images a double rifle and a lion charging me and my trusty H&H rifle stoped that 1,000lb Lion in his track.

My downfall is going to the range or local pit. Then I find a pile of lonely brass needing love. I bring it home and clean it up and add it to a pile I already have. Then I look at that pile and think "it's a shame not to use it" so I buy some dies. Then the slippery slope begins............ Why else would I reload 25 ACP or 9 MM Largo to name some I do. Then it needs to be shot and tested for accuracy so down the rabbit hole I go! I never learn sob:(

I have that same problem. I've collected over 200 pieces of 7mm-08 in the past couple of years. My Stepson owns a gun shop, he took a 7mm-08 in on trade. I saw it...had to have it. I'm now casting and loading for it. Come to think of it, I think I have a good quantity of 300WSM in my misc brass bucket.....

I got 500 30-06 & 3-4 hundred 300WN
I know the feeling

what got me real tingly is 8mm Rem Mag. Anybody ever shot one? I have a bunch of factory ammo.

I am a caliber addict. Just when I think all my whims are satisfied, I read an article that sparks a new interest. Today's new craving is for the venerable .44-40 because I never had one.
Will have to start from scratch, need a rifle, handgun, dies and brass.
Sheesh I need to stop reading. :what:

I used to suffer from the same affliction ..... took me years to break the habit. I still have too many but no more crazy out there wildcats.

300 PRC is going to be my final walk on the wild side.

I was thinking a x frame smith 460 for exactly the same reason. Although one less round capable a 454 might be a better fit as I dont see myself shooting 460 near as much and more likely mostly 45 colt.

I think I’m reloading 24 cartridges, but it’s difficult to keep up with all of them.
I go by my die sets ... it's the only way to keep up with it.

I look at it this way, if shtf I figure I'll be able to reload most common brass in an emergency. I may still need a few more molds but I am always on the lookout for those are yard sales, estate sales and swaps.

IF I could just find a .338 Federal, my life would be complete.
It's never ending, today it's XYZ tomorrow it will be ABC, reminds me of that old Highwaymen song because it goes around and around. :)
I can provide a good example. One of my bucket list guns is a 1903 Colt pocket hammerless, now the 32ACP is pretty much useless especially today when there are smaller pistols available in 9mm but none of those will make you feel like Humphrey Bogart and here's looking at you kid.

My most recent addition was around 2014: .40S&W. After decades of ignoring, “the other 9mm” and plastixfantastix striker-fired space guns, I bought one. My wife had got on board the plastic gun thing with her Walthers and CZ’s and she liked them fine but they were just never my thing. Her sister got into .40S&W with a Ruger something or other but it felt boxy and unbalanced. Finally got offered a .40 that was also a space gun so cheap I couldn’t say no. Shot it once, stuck it in the vault and forgot about it until I started seeing ammo prices do flips. Took it out, bought cheap cheap ammunition and it shot that stuff just as well as duty ammunition. Well, if I’m going to shoot it, I gotta feed it so I got dies and components and now it’s a good little plinker to take to the range.

I conscientiously avoid new calibers. If nothing else for reloading purposes. Ive passed on shotguns, rifles, and handguns because they were a caliber i didn't have or didn't shoot much when id have bought them if they were a different one. I only have 12 ga shotguns that I use. Any new rifles I get are 300 mag or 223 (although I have and load for probably 20 rifle cartridges from 220 swift up to 338 lapua). I pretty much only shoot 10mm/40 and 45 and 44 handguns. (Again I have and can load for probably 20 others but I only buy those 3 to use)

I'm up to reloading 31 calibers and 4 guages.

Cast bullets for: .45Colt, .45ACP, .357, .40-70 win, .458 Sharps

.338 bullets are on steep discount at Midway! get them before I do

Ive got molds for 45 acp and colt, 44 spec and Mag, 38spec and 357mag, 10mm and 38-40, 357 Herrett, and #4 buck

@Mark_Mark I too have a 50Beowulf. For when I need to stop a rabid zombie with crabs in a Cadillac by shooting the engine block...

It is like shooting a 12ga with only a metal buttplate. Mines a 16" barrel, no brake, and mid length gas system.

My AR calibers are 5.56, 6.5G, 7.62x39, and 50B. Plus an extra 5.56 and 6.5G.

Ive also got like 10 different T/C barrels...

.50 BW is the absolute most rediculast round. The range of heavy bullets and out of a AR-15 platform!

I’m getting another Upper!!!
