Several of them are interesting and the others are something I really don't care much about. Some are expensive (to me) and others are fairly cheap.
1. Desert Eagle in .357. This sucker weighs 3# 9.6oz without the magazine!!! I guess I could use it for a pocket pistol. It looks like it has never been fired.
2. Intratec Tec-9. I have absolutely zero interest in this thing. It has 6 mags and I doubt I will ever even take it to the farm.
3. S&W 629 in 44 mag. This is the gun I like the most. Looks to be in perfect condition.
4. Arminius 22/22 mag. Had the mag cylinder in the gun, fully loaded, with 2 rounds fired. Loaded with 22 LR. I had to work to get one of the casings out so I hope it didn't damage the gun.
5. H&K P7M10 in 40 cal. From what I have read, this is a rare gun but not necessarily a "good" gun. It's HUGE and weighs over 3 pounds empty.

Any thoughts on any of these? I'm really a "wood and steel" type of guy, though I have a bunch of plastic in my collection. The Desert Eagle may be good for giggles and who doesn't need another 22 LR plinker. The Tec 9 and HK? Safe queens.
I had previously bought a few guns from this guy, a Sig, a Kimber, and a HK Viper. He bought a lot of nice guns.

1. Interesting, bit the grip is too big for my hand. Not a fan of .357 semi-autos, but they DE is really cool.
2. Meh, gun show fodder, to me.
3. REALLY COOL, bring out your inner Dirty Harry. Great fun
4. Fun, decent quality, old revolver. Nice plinker and pasture companion.
5. Meh, find a H&K fan and makes a trade.

I'm more a traditionalist too, but I enjoy the idea of .357 in a semi-auto. D.E. probably did the magnum semi's better than anyone.
If the Tech9 works, channel your inner gangster and blast away. I bet it would be fun if it functions properly. Hell, they're all fun when they work right.

The only two on that list I'd be interested in are the 629 and the DE. The 629 would be a keeper for me. I've never shot a DE and would welcome the opportunity, although I'd be more interested in a .44 mag or .50 AE.

Nice score! I'm not familiar with all of them. But heres my take.

1. Don't know much about Desert Eagles. Interesting pistol.
2. Don't know anything about these.
3. Easily my pick of the litter! Nice!
4. Don't know anything about these.
5. Nice pistol. Probably very accurate and reliable. Very expensive, don't under rate it.

There are 2 out of the bunch that I would keep, numbers 3 and 5. The rest would be trade material.

I'd say that they are all keepers - for different reasons.
Some of them I'd keep until I'd tried them, at least.
You never know which ones really work for you.
For example, I've really had a lot of fun with Tec 22s and Tec 9s.
You might even enjoy trying to get that Arminius to work properly... .

1. Desert Eagle in .357. — Interesting gun. The weight and recoil system is super interesting, and while the .44 is a very much more manageable gun than a .44 revolver, the .357s shoot like a .22. Note it is tuned for .357 and nothing else. Get or load stout ammo for it if you shoot it, else it won't cycle and that's pretty tiring pretty quickly.
2. Intratec Tec-9 — Fun. I'd shoot it. Or give it to me :) Would be fun to SBR it if you could figure out how to get the MP9 stock onto it. Esp with mags, probably worth $2000 or more. Got box for this, or others?
3. S&W 629 — Fine. Probably nice. Without more words or description, dash, etc. can't tell how interesting.
4. Arminius 22/22 mag.— Bleh.
5. H&K P7M10 — First gen .40s where a lot of makers did bad things like this, added slide mass. But rare, and in a world where even boring old scratched up P7s are house down payment expensive, I'd sell this. Well, me, I'd try a trade. Find a dealer in HKisms, see what you can get for it like a 9mm P7 with plenty of mags, or something. But if you hate the concept, then just sell it for lots of money. I mean $10,000 +/- 1,000 for condition, features, box, etc.

Agree: need photos.

Arminius hand guns are pretty budget friendly and sometimes work. 30 years ago I inherited a model in .38 special NIB never shot. Shot it once then sold it for $50. Don't believe it was worth that much. As a .22/.22 WMR plinker it might be okay. Maybe.

The 80's & 90's, notoriously unreliable but BA looking, banned in California,"gangsta's" friend Tech 9. I see some models are going for decent bucks on Gun Broker. $1500 for a "mint pre ban" model.

The nod of approval for the Desert Eagle, S&W hand canon and HK and yes need photos.

A DE in 357, is a pussycat, so long as you run full power rounds. Heavy, though.
The Intratec, if it runs, looks fun, if it doesn't run, sell it for more money than it is really worth.
An S&W 629 is more practical than Dirty Harry's blued 29, if a bit flashier. Nice gun for shooting 44s.
Don't know much about the 22 revolver, not a good sign that you had trouble getting fired cases out of it.
The HK P7M10 is a collector's item. Run of the mill P7 9mm are going north of $1500-$2000, they never made many of the 40s, imported even fewer, an HK collector will pay stupid money for one.

I did get pictures on a couple of them and will get the others in the next few days. . I was able to shoot the Arminius out back because, unbeknownst to me, I had the 22LR cylinder. It worked fine and fired all rounds with no apparent timing issues. I just flung some lead around so I didn't test any accuracy.
3. S&W 629 — Fine. Probably nice. Without more words or description, dash, etc. can't tell how interesting.
It is a dash1.
I won't be able to test the others for a couple of weeks. Shooting 357 and 44 in my backyard, while legal, isn't something my neighbors might approve.

Tech 9s are ok toys if they work. DE are a blast. If not interested in the tech list it on here or GB. Maybe hit a gun show and trade for something more you’re style. If it where me I would hold onto the tech until the next panic buy and make some decent coin.

I’d hit the range with the Desert Eagle, 629, and Tec 9.

I’d expect to sell the Tec 9, although I’d definitely want to try it out, and I wouldn’t even shoot the HK, unless I could bum a box of .40 from a friend for nothing. I’d just sell it on to someone who will give me a pile for it.

I’d dump the Arminius like a hot potato. No need to shoot that one either.

There's no problem with the 22/22mag. If you shoot 22lr out of one they will stick because the magnum cylinder is wider by just a bit and the lr cases swell when fired. Clean it and you will have no troubles. Just shoot the right ammo out of the correct cylinder.

None of them are "my type", but you def. have some excellent trading material! The DE is worth a considerable amount of $ to someone who is into that sort of thing. I have never understood the purpose of those guns except as a range toy. The S&W is valuable, as are all S&W revolvers to a great many people who are wheel gun types. Of the 5, that is the one I might keep. HK P7 fans are a cult, and a P7 40 caliber is a very desired addition to a HK fan. The TEC9 probably won't be too hard to move either- some people think those are cool. I don't, but to each his own. The FIE doesn't really have any value. If I had one, I would probably load it with snake shot and keep it in a tackle box or my barn.

Your Desert Eagle is one of the older ones made by IMI. IMI still makes them for Magnum Research with the Magnum Research name on it.

I just bought the Deagle in .44 but I’ve shot the .357 before and you need hot loads to cycle the beast. If you reload, you can find your sweet load.

The Deagle serves absolutely no practical purpose whatsoever, but it’s soooooo much fun. My model weighs 4lbs 6oz. Recoil for me isn’t that bad because of the weight. You just can’t hold on target for too long.

Shoot it and enjoy it. If it’s not for you, sell it. Brand new, they’re about $1850. Trade it for a nice old snake gun or whatever you want.

Your relative is pretty dang cool.

I like him.

3. S&W 629 in 44 mag.
4. Arminius 22/22 mag.
5. H&K P7M10 in 40 cal.
1. Not really my cup of tea, but the Desert Eagles have a bit of a cult following. I'd be inclined to sell.
2. Even less my cup of tea.
3. Probably a keeper.
4. Cheap .22 plinker. Don't expect to get much money for it.
5. This is a $4-5K gun. If it's been shot, you can shoot it a bit, but expect to keep it in a safe. P7s fetch high prices, P7M10s are among the rarest...only a P7K3 can top it.

20220407_193820.jpg 20220407_193744.jpg 20220407_193726.jpg 20220407_193803.jpg 20220407_142400.jpg I will add a pic of all 5 guns. Sorry I only took quick shots so not a lot of detail. I take detailed photos of all my guns and save them to a flash drive just in case some ever come up missing.
Desert Eagle, S&W, and HK all appear to be close to pristine. I would be shocked if more than a box of ammo went through any of those and they were probably purchased new. The Arminius and Tec 9 were probably bought used and have been shot some. This guy is not a shooter but a collector.
PS I am not much of a gun seller and have what you might call an eclectic mix of firearms. I have everything from a Jennings , Phoenix, Hi Point up to some very nice Colt snake guns and HK pistols and rifles. I don't disparage any gun or manufacturer. If it shoots consistently I will keep it.
PSS The Jennings is horrible but it's not something I would pawn off on anyone else. The little Phoenix 22 is good with the correct ammo.
Hi Points go bang every time with any ammo.
I have a Ruger P85 that is only good with one type of ammo I have found. I bought it from a former Marine Gunnery Sargent.
I have a Diamondback DB9 that shoots well and another that can't run half a mag through it.
This HK listed here just looks like it would be a terrible shooter. The ergonomics look terrible!
I can't wait to shoot that S&W. I love shooting magnum revolvers. I have a Colt Trooper that is a phenomenal shooter.

I would keep them all, the HK, Eagle and even the TEC all can fetch a good chunk of cash. Even if their not your cup of tea, each has a dedicated fan base willing to drop a good bit on them.
