Only spent a couple hours looking at the available options and this struck me as a smart design with fewer possible headaches. I'd like to hear why you think I'm right, or wrong. Thanks!

I wont talk you out of it .
been looking at an annealer myself and that one you mention seems perfect .
no extra wheels to buy or have to change.
No worry about about wearing out the wheels or melting them.
The price shipped is the best I have seen for a descent annealing machine .

I saw these when the guy (from somewhere in Eastern Europe) first came out with them. It looks like a solid design. I like it’s compact footprint. If I didn’t already have an annealer I’d have no reservations getting this one

Can't speak for the AGS, but I wonder how hot the discharge bin gets as well as how many rounds the bin would hold.

FWIW, when used non-stop, the bin on my Annealeeze gets hot enough you're ready to let go of it after you dump the bin.
The wheels won't 'melt', unless you have the torch pointed too close to the wheels. (When this happens, the very edge of the wheel can get hot enough to start transferring tiny bits of material onto your HOT brass, but, IMHO, this is more of an operator error than a problem with the machine as it can be corrected)

In full disclosure, I usually anneal 500+ cases at a time, non-stop. (Only to change calibers) The ability to run 100% non-stop is of value to me, but might not be a concern to others.

I honestly have never heard of the AGS unit until very recently. It does look like it has a decent way to hold/aim the torch, and the price point is attractive. Can't really see why it wouldn't work for someone who doesn't need to anneal bucket-full's of brass
