A while back I asked about reloading for a Taurus chambered in .480 Ruger. And thanks to all the helpful people here (enablers ) and the approval of my very much loved significant other, I decided to go for it.

So I ordered some dies and brass from Midway a few weeks ago, and it shipped next day and I had it in less than a week.

Two days ago I placed an order with Graf's expecting it to be shipped (maybe) sometime next week. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that a shipping order/tracking number was given today and that expected delivery will be next week on Tuesday. My last order with them was placed in March and received about three weeks later. So I do believe they are catching up with the current demand.

None of the three orders contained any hazmat, which may still delay shipping a bit. Just thought I would share this info in case any one else is thinking of placing an online order.

BIG thumbs up to everybody working during this virus shutdown, and a very BIG thanks for all they are doing!

I think the demand is dropping. Locally things are staying in stock much longer. In this industry, there just isn't much capitol standing idle waiting for a shortage. Production just cant ramp up fast enough to keep up with panic buying, and it doesn't make sense to invest in additional production for a short lived panic.

The panic buying is essentially over as people start looking at a tough financial future. Record unemployment, record mortgage delinquencies, record government spending, record money printing, the list goes on and it's only just begun. Can't feed your children ammo...

Don't get too excited. Depending on where it's coming from or where it has to pass through. I was notified that an order shipped. I checked the tracking info and the delivery date was supposed to be this coming saturday. I don't know why, but something made me check again during lunch and this is what tracking had to say...”Civil unrest has delayed your package in transit. Delivery will be rescheduled. Check back for updates.” That was from UPS with a package coming from Optics Planet.
