Friendswood bullets long wait -too long!

Hi all, any one else had issues with Friendswood Bullets out of Texas? I have bought from them several times in the past and the quality is good but their delivery and customer service sucks big time. They charge your credit card immediately the order is placed. I wouldn't mind that so much if they stuck to their promised delivery dates. At the time I placed my last order on May 21st, their site said allow 4 weeks delivery due to high demand. Ok so I expected to wait up to 5 weeks, allowing for shipment.
I know I can get my money back through the CC company but I want the order I placed. I am sure they are still swamped and working long hours but if they charge a credit card immediately, they have an obligation to ship close to the promised lead time.
I sent them a request for a status report on my order two weeks ago and still haven't heard from them again. Same thing happened on my last order too. I don't want to cancel the order as I have already waited the seven weeks but I sure wont be placing any future orders with them.
As noted, the product quality is great but customer service is non existent .
Any one else had the same experience with these guys.

I haven't dealt with them, but they do have a phone number on their website. Give them a call. Four weeks is long, but if they stuck to that it wouldn't be so bad.

I had the same problem last year. I was told 4 weeks, but it took about 7 weeks. I had mulitple emails, and phone calls in before I received a call back. I will just stay with MBC. They offer better CS.

For that wait time you could have bought from Missouri Bullet, which has great customer service and a great product to boot.

What is it? 90 days for a chargeback? I would mark the calendar, but otherwise stop worrying. You still want the same quality bullets as your previous orders, right? At least they're not rushing defects out the door to appease the impatient.

Friendswood Bullets

It's been a couple of years since i've picked up any bullets from him. When i say "picked up" from him thats what i mean. His business is about two miles from my house! I called him up and asked if i could "pick them up" myself and he said "sure". Imagine my surprise when his business was actually run out of his garage in a residential neighborhood! He was very nice and welcomed my business as we chated for about 20 min. I don't think you can pick up product from him anymore. He has to ship it to you. During this mad rush i can't imagine how "swamped" he is. So i can understand the wait, being it's just him and him alone with one machine cranking out these bullets!

Wow, I'm from Friendswood and I had no idea there was a resident there making bullets!

I bought 1000 each of 9mm 124 gr and 45 ACP 230 gr bullets from them just after the election and it took about 2 weeks longer than normal. I've been using them for these bullets for a couple of years.

As mentioned he has a one man operation. Not making excuses, but even some of the big boys with mega operations are months behind on orders. Heck Hornady has stopped production of a number of their bullets just to keep up with others.

Finally in transit

AS noted in the initial post I ordered on May 21 with a promise of 4 week delivery. Today I finally received a shipping notice and they are now in Transit.
I will be glad to get them but will not order from them again. AS noted they charge your credit card as soon as the order is received and then didn't ship for almost 8 weeks, They don't respond to emails ot telephone.
That was my last order with them and I will use my other two suppliers!

AS originally noted, the quality is good but customer service is sorely lacking , even if it is a one man operation.
I know its probably been crazy but my other two suppliers shipped right in schedule and DID NOT charge my card till shipment.
