I am the kind of person that goes to Hooters for the food and ambience. I like gunshows better though. You cant take a Hooters girl home, but you can take any rifle you want home from the gunshow and won't have to worry about a possible divorce. Usually I just take my wife to a restaraunt of her choice to smooth the transition, I gotta eat too so why not. I was wondering if some of you folks would post pics and tell about your favorite rifle. I will try to get a picture of my baby posted too.

I'm still working on mine. I'm working on a really.. crazy.. project with a Savage Mark II. Lots of custom made parts, all painted up pretty. It should be awfully sexy in the end. I'm not going to ruin it by posting it till its complete though. Otherwise I don't have anything particularly unusual or dressed up.

my rifle

Here is my Remington model 700 SPS Varmint. It is chambered in .308 and has a 26 inch heavy barrel. The stock is a bell and carlson varmint/tactical with the vertical grip and aluminum block bedding. The scope is a Burris Extreme Tactical, 3-12x50mm with 30mm maintube and mil-dot reticle. The rings are Burris Signature dual dovetail and Burris bases.

Yup. Swapped the stock with a USGI refinished one and have shot the livin' bejeezus out of it. Never missed a beat. Have let a lot of kids shoot it as their first intro to a centerfire rifle (great step up from a .22LR).
