I would like to conceal a H&K USP .45 fullsize. I realize finishing wear is normal but if I can reduce it, that would be good.

I live in Florida so I'm not sure how well leather would work since it's really humid here in the summer. Since I live in the northwest, it's pretty cold out right now (in the 30's). I don't think IWB is going to be an option especially since i'm fat. (255 pounds, 5ft10), I'm not positive if I want to do a shoulder rig, I work at an office place and generally wear a undershirt with a button up shirt over it (not tucked it) but I'm not sure if a hip holster would work well with a fullsize USP.

I've been looking at Alessi hip holsters but I'm not sure if anyone has them in stock. Thanks.

Blackhawk sells a Serpa for a fullsized USP....

I carry a USP Tactical. Even with a sweater on, you can tell I've got either something on my belt, or I look like I'm 50lbs heavier than I am.

Any reason for the fullsize carry? Just wondering, because that IS a big boy. The USPc I have is ok, but not exactly ideal.
I've seen the M-Tac also, and it works pretty well, but the guy was pretty big, so it wasn't a stretch for him.

Good luck

By getting an IWB holster with two separate belt loops, one in front of and one behind the gun, you will dramatically reduce the thickness of the gun/holster package.

Depending on your body type you may not be able to conceal a full size pistol very well with any holster. Alot do it but alot of people do it poorly too. My vote would be to go with a sub compact version for CCW instead of trying to push a square peg through a round hole.

But here is a thread of someone selling a fanny pack if you really want to conceal a full sized pistol well... I am not going to recommend wearing one though as they give off a "stigma" to say the least!

:) I'm taller, but just as big a guy as you. I use a Blade-Tech IWB with a Tek-Lok fast on/fast off clasp.

Blade-Tech IWB

These are nice holsters and should carry comfortably in warm weather. The models illustrated have a sweat guard against the body. If you don't want the sweat guard then simply order a standard opposite hand OTB holster and wear it IWB on your gun side.

(Which is what I happen to do; but I'm, also, ambidextrous and, consequently, get dual use out of all my holsters: IWB for everyday carry, and OTB for range use.)

If you want to conceal a big pistol like a USP, then, IWB is the only way to go. I do it with a large G-21; and, I appreciate, 'Why' you want to do the same thing. Make sure you own a decent GUN belt that is 2" larger than whatever you usually wear. ;)

check out Haugen leather, I carry a full size 45 for reliability not to show off and wanted a good quality leather holster that was not only very comfortable but concealed well his fit the bill perfectly and had great reviews.I live in Florida and although a 1911 is slim I didn't want to be sweating into the holster and pistol so I went with a OWB the speed Scabbard III its a high ride for concealment with a FBI cant for for a fast draw I just wear the hawaian type shirts in the summer you never know it's there!
