Iac 892

Hello all, my first post here.
I purchased an IAC 892 at a local gun show today. When I got it home I noticed that when shouldering the shotgun and pulling rearward on the foreend the trigger will either not pull or have a mushy almost delayed break.
When pulling the trigger with no pressure on the foreend the trigger breaks clean and crisp as it should. The gun has been cleaned and I disassembled to insure (what I believe to be) propper assembly. Does anyone have any suggestions on what is causing this? Seems to have to do with the forearm pressure taking the gun out of battery. Thanks in advance for any help.

I didn't know what an IAC 892 is without looking it up on the interweb.
(IMO: Your 1st. mistake for buying it to save $20-$30 bucks over a nice used Remington 870 Wingmaster)

I apologize for my rudeness beforehand, but I'm rapidly reaching old curmudgeon status.

I looked it up.
Appears to be a Chinese? copy of a Remington 870?

1. With the action open, Is the barrel fully seated in the receiver?
2. Is the mag tube nut that holds the barrel on fully tightened?
3. Is the trigger group full of old dried Chinese stir-fry cooking oil?

Other then that, the action should lock shut, and be impossible to pump, unless you snap the hammer (dry-fire it) or push the action release button on the side of the trigger guard.

Pulling or pushing on the forearm should have no effect on trigger pull.

If it still does?
Something ain't right, but I have no idea what.

Rc, thanks for the prompt response. As far as trying to save money on a new shotgun I own several Remington mossberg and benelli shotguns, but I had read good things about the IAC And for $150 with the reviews I have seen I couldn't pass it up.
The gun is clean, and free of any stir fry residue. Im still puzzled by why the forearm is affecting trigger pull, but When the action is locked and you put pressure on the forearm the bolt moves slightly.

Well, it's probably a stacking of tolerance errors in the bolt & trigger group that is partially unhooking the action bar lock/disconnector when the bolt moves when it shouldn't?

Thats my best guess anyway.

Sorry I can't help you more, but I just don't know anything else about them.

Never even held one in my hand at a gun show as far as I know.
