Idaho: Permitless Carry Bill Introduced

I don't live in Idaho, but this motion has my complete support. Good luck to you guys, and I hope permitless/Constitutional carry becomes more popular.

It's pretty exciting to think of how much things have changed. Concealed carry itself was taboo until the late eighties; now, it's the law in most of the US. Maybe permitless/Constitutional carry will go the same route.

I've never lived in a state that requires a permit to purchase, own, carry open, and now conceal. I know it may seem extreme to some, but I rarely travel to states that prevent me from carrying. I'm most deffinitely an exception in this manner, because my Sister and I have had attempts of kidnapping and robbed more than just a couple of times. I'm not paranoid per say, I just don't ever let my guard down. If not for my handgun and shotgun in one circumstance, I feel certain my Sister and I wouldn't be alive today. The first time was when I was 12 yrs. old, I happened to have a handgun on me, I was on my way to my favorite rabbit hunting spot that morning. I'm hopeful permitless carry will spread. It's rediculous that law abiding citizens are treated with such lack of consideration regarding their safety and well being.
My favorite phrase:
"When seconds count, the police are only minutes away!"

Good call

This bill makes sense. In Idaho, law already provides Constitutional carry outside city limits among the bears, cougars and wolves. In the cities, where the dangerous predators are, we need a permit.

Fully supporting both this and the "campus carry" bills to my legislators!
