IDPA Holster?

As long as it's not a 'roto' paddle... anything that can have the cant easily adjusted on the belt (w/out taking it off) is not technically legal... but the standard paddle is fine, even if the cant can be adjusted manually once removed from the belt... hope that makes sense

The roto isn't adjustable "on" the belt. You have to take it off and loosen a screw on the back to adjust the cant. At least that's the way it is on mine.

That's cool if you have to take it off to adjust the cant, but I was just trying to make sure the OP didn't go shoot a score, and later get DQ'd if something was discovered regarding the legality of his holster...

I don't know how yours is, or the OPs, I have one of those Fobus roto-paddle holsters GL19 or whatever, that can take the Glock w/ a weapon mounted light. While it's easier to adjust the cant while off the belt, I'm pretty sure I was able to also adjust it while on the belt.

However, I have a new Uncle Mike's paddlle holster for the G26/G19, very similar to the Fobus, that someone gave me as a gift, and it has a stationary cant, so I know I can use that in IDPA.

For what it's worth, here is the excerpt from the IDPA rules page:
http://idpa.com/Documents/IDPARuleBook2005.pdf (warning PDF) (think this was on page 32)

NOT Permitted:
A. Cross Draw Holsters.
B. Shoulder Holsters.
C. Small of the Back Holsters.
D. Holsters designed and/or marketed as “competition”
models.
E. Muzzle forward or ‘on the belt’ adjustable cant holsters.
Those that allow the cant to be adjusted by the shooter while
the holster is on the belt are not allowed.[/
B]

NOTE: Holsters with an adjustable cant via removal of bolts
and repositioning of the backpiece are approved if set for
neutral or muzzle rear cant.
... then there's more stipulations of other topics

Note they state THE REMOVAL OF BOLTS, i.e. like a Crossbreed, CTAC, or some such thing, and the repositioning of a backpiece, is how that read to me. YMMV

Karz
