So what equipment (belt, holster, mag holders, etc.) do you guys use for your various action shooting sports?

The reason for this is that I've since outgrown the cheap Fobus holster/mag holder I started with and I am looking to upgrade. The USPSA match I regularly shoot at holds rifle side matches also so I am looking for AR mag holders too.

Well, let's see here.

I start out with the same belt/holster rig I use for USPSA Limited/Production - CRSpeed Hi-Torque belt with a Blade-Tech SRB belt holster and 2-4 CRSpeed Versa-Pouch magazine carriers.

For rifle stages, I add one or two Blade-Tech kydex AR-15 magazine carriers with Tek-Loks. I also frequently use a Beta C-Mag if the stage lacks a good place to reload.

For shotgun, I add one or more Progressive Machine 4-round Quik-Strippers on my belt. If it's a really high round count stage, I have a 16-round shotshell chest rig from Mark Otto on it's way.

Almost all of my gear attaches to my belt with Tek-Loks, so I can set up my belt to accommodate the stage.

Upgrade from Fobus? I still use Fobus for "tactical" matches which may have more running around, crawling, whatever. Otherwise, Safariland 012 (Safariland had a clearance on some odd colors and I picked one up cheap) and 773 mag holders; great for USPSA Ltd but not Production or IDPA.

Shotgun holds 9+1, 7 on the sidesaddle, and 6-shell trays (California Competition Works) on the belt. Usually that is enough; I have seen 32 round shotgun stages, although those are rare. I have not seen all of Mark Otto's stuff (he only had the chest trays last time I saw him); if I wore stuff on my chest, that would be a good way to go.

3-mag thigh pouch from Blackhawk for AR mags. Most stages are fine with 1 mag and a reload. However, something usually goes wrong when I have exactly the right number of mags for the stage. Carrying a spare is good. If I change from the Blackhawk, I will look at 3-Gun Gear.
