If AK-47 sights are so bad, why don't they change them?

i dont have a problem with the AK open sight, eather with the AR, is just like using different tools for the same job

Tight groups at 25, 40 or 50 yards with any ammo means nothing. ... AK103K's 200 yard groups are what an AK is designed to do. Hitting a man sized target at 200 to 300 yards.

I see your point but if you can shoot a tight group through 50 yards in field positions there is a good chance you can put hits on man sized targets at 200 yards. I haven't shot my WASR-10 on a benchrest yet and I never will. An AK is not a target gun, I agree, but since I don't have a 200 yard range I see no problem posting good groups at 40 yards.
