If guns are the real problem....

If you were attacked, would you prefer your attacker to be unarmed or would you prefer he be armed with a fully loaded AR-15? If having a gun doesn't make your attacker more dangerous, why would you care?

I asked this same basic question a couple of pages ago. The fact that neither answered it, and continue to not answer it, seems to indicate that they are arguing just to argue as they know they are wrong.

Guns do NOT make a person dangerous -- any more than airplanes, cars, pressure cookers or stacks of fertilizer make a person dangerous. What makes a person dangerous is his INTENTIONS.

NO ONE has said a gun makes them dangerous. Continuing to conflate the two concepts is either disingenuous or an indication of lack of comprehension. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I'll spell it out again.

We're are saying, and have said many times, a person with intent to harm is more dangerous with a gun than a club or no weapon at all.



Either way, your example undermines the false position of your argument.

Timothy McVeigh, the Boston Bomber, and the 9-11 terrorists all had intentions to kill. All of them chose normally inanimate objects to explicitly be more dangerous than using no weapon at all, or a club.

Once again, given a mall with a thousand people, which is more dangerous -- 100 decent civilians with guns, or one mass murderer with a gun?

I couldn't have said it better other than to add that taking such silly position does a LOT of harm to 2A Rights because it portrays us as people that cant understand basic concepts, or are disingenuous, in effort to 'cling to our guns'.

You are the one that is wrong, you are the one that is attempting to argue silliness...insulting others isn't doing you any favors...unless your goal is to get the thread closed so you can stop finding ways to avoid answering simple questions
