If there could be only one?

I've owned both at one time and only have the PF-9 left.

IMO the Bersa is a better made gun and the .380 is an excellent round for a back up.

I am of the impression that the 9mm is a better round so I carry the PF-9 daily as a primary or a BUG.

Over 2k rounds through the PF-9 without a hiccup. Maybe it's built better than I thought.

9mm, light, and thin wins the gold for me! If I had to dump the four I carry, a pf9 would be the last carry gun standing.

The Bersa. I handled a Bersa 380 and liked it but instead purchased a Kel Tec P3AT. Sold that (I decided .380 ammo was ridiculous compared to 9mm and 9mm had more oomph.) and got a Kel Tec PF9. Sold that after I got my 2nd Kahr CW9.

In the middle of all that I got a Bersa Thunder UC9 Pro. Damn fine weapon!

You might want to look at this firearm. IMO Bersa's best and 9mm to boot. ;)

I to think the Bersa is a better built gun,but for its size and weight there
are many 9mm options that better it.

One handgun.... okay, if I lost all of my handguns tomorrow in a fire or theft, I would probably replace my S&W 442 (38spl) first with exactly the same gun.

It is not my favorite firearm, not even close. In fact, I dislike even shooting it.

The choice has to be situational in this kind of thread. My first reaction was to buy a high quality 22LR DA revolver because I would shoot it far more than anything else. But some things take priority and it would have to be the M442.

PF-9. The Bersa is a better range gun, but the PF-9 is far superior as a CC firearm.
I wouldn't say "far" superior. It shoots a superior round (9MM vs. .380), but it doesn't hold as many of them. It is lighter, but that makes it nastier to shoot, which means you won't shoot it as much. So, yeah, if you want to shoot it a lot, get the Bersa ( and start reloading .380). If you want to carry something that packs a substantial wallop, get the Kel-Tec.
