would you come to an IGOLD type rally in Daley Plaza? We're working out the details but want to see how many to plan for. What would be better, weekday or weekend, parade or rally, car ride or train ride, paper or plastic.

I'm in. I'm available both during the week and weekends. I'd be willing to carpool or take the train in (I'm in Wheaton). I use my own plastic Airborne Express (Think red mail) totes for my groceries. (I'm not a tree hugger, it's just that they are easier to carry and load in the car, they don't rip/tear or fall over. I put all the stuff that goes into the fridge in one, freezer stuff in another, items that go into one set of cabinets in one and items that go into the other set of cabinets on the other side of kitchen into they're own tote.)

I'd say the best thing to do would be to march on the Daley Building when the County Board has the hearing/vote on the proposed Anti-Gun Ordances.

I like the idea of asking about weekdays and weekends, but maybe we should redo this as a poll. Let me think about how to do that with a minimum number of choices so it works.

Illinois Gun Owners Lobbying Day.

It is a day when the pro and anti gun lobbies can go approach the state legislators.

I would suggest having it on a weekday so that it will have more of an impact. Blocking off the Daley center would be excellent.

What about having a "lay-in" with the amount of people who were killed in Chicago alone last year.
