Those same questions get asked right here on The High Road....

and,.... some of the same false information is usually posted in answers.

the article you linked is a guy selling stuffed animals at a garage sale.

the questions are simply can you sell guns at a garage sale, and the answers are correct: as long as your state laws allow it.

so....what's the point of this thread?

the article you linked is a guy selling stuffed animals at a garage sale.

WRONG. If you bothered to read the article and not just look at the pretty photogrph and assume you could deduce the story you would know that the stuffed animals were only on display to draw people in.

^^second rude post i've seen from you today. the first you called others on this forum "dips".

this is th first:

Once again I see that people are either ingnorant or to lasy to read. Several people saying things like "what kind of check" and "did you cash the check"
The OP clearly said he recieved a MONEY ORDER.
For those whoo don't know a monry order is a pre-paid financal instument. That was until recently a very secure method of money transfer.

READ THE POST before running off half-cocked.

Maybe the forum should be called The High Road with a lot of dips.

i foresee a short stay for you ;)

also, i sure did read the article, which mentions taxidermist game animals at his current garage sale, and a possible gun garage sale in the future.

might want to think again about leaving obnoxious posts in the future.

I've been a member for 3 1/2 years, I'm approaching 70 years old and don't have the patience to put up with petty silliness. The attitude of you two young men are the reason I just keep to myself, read posts I'm interested in and rarely post. Apocalypse, Mark is right about the stuffed animals just being there to draw customers in. Mark, you can get your point across without being rude. As I stated, I'm an old coot, but I strive to learn something everyday, and yes patience is one thing I'm trying to work on. Especially with you young whippersnappers.

I don't see much good happening here, and a lot of bad. Everyone step back and think about being on the high road (not just a forum called that).

As to the original post, yup. Some folks don't know the law. Heck, most folks don't know the law. Probably could have found a thousand "reader comment" sections full of such, and worse, in an hour's web search. If you feel like responding and setting them straight, go ahead. Don't know what good it will do, but have at it.

For the rest: If you feel like saying something snarky, DON'T. If you see something rude or questionable posted by someone else, hit the report button (
