Was able to get the pistol picture loaded but the long guns was corrupted will need to take it again sometime. Sorry for the quality, camera-fone.

I will be adding an SKS to the collection tomorrow evening, and I'll be adding an AR next week. I'm hoping to add a 1911 as well soon, but we'll see how it goes.

My newest additions, picked them up at an auction on Friday....

The first is a Winchester model 1873, it is a 2nd generation... manufactured around 1882 I believe
next is a S&W 5 screw, pre-model 10
Next 2 are Colt's. a New Frontier and a Peacemaker Buntline
Last is a High Standard "The Marshall" this one I will actually shoot and plink with...

Ny Marksman, that looks like a three layer popsicle...but on a rifle. From brown wood, to black plastic, to stainless steel.

Its got a certain bit of character to it though.
 
IronWood Designs* (link) makes wood stocks for the AR.

highorder - is that the original stock? That almost looks like one of those fancy woods like "birds-eye maple" that I've seen on "This Old House". Cool looking stock!

Nope. I used to work in a gun store that took in odd lots of stuff. One day a very dusty cardboard box showed up with a half-dozen seriously dingy stocks in it. I recognized what I thought was an M1 rifle stock; I picked it up and gave it a hasty rub with my palm where the Op-rod runs. The grain leapt out at me! I offered the owner $40 for the stock which he casually accepted. It got cleaned and refinished with a dozen coats of BLO.

I do still need a rear HG to match. The walnut just clashes. :)
