Yeah, yeah. I'm more of a libertarian than a Republican, but...

Just a week after John Kerry visited the Grand Canyon (saying he would make it more grand, somehow), and a week after Kerry could barely fill the very small downtown park known as "Patriots Square Park," Dubya will be at Veterans Memorial Collesium (where the Suns used to play and where we have our summer gun shows). Tickets were to be attained by going to local Bush-Cheney and GOP HQs. Demand was high. I had to wait for a half hour to get a ticket (one was turned back in due to illness in the family).

So, today is the day. I will take off a couple hours early to get there on time.

I plan on carrying a gunnie sign. What do *you* think should it say?

Also, if you want, you can give me the sign *you* would carry (gun or non-gun issue).

I'll let you know tonite which way I go and what the experience was like. I might get some pics.

Thanks,

Rick

I recently went to a Bush campaign stop. Signs were stickily forbidden. No backpacks, large hand-bags, beverage cans or bottles or umbrellas (it was hot waiting four hours in line). If you showed up with any of these, they were confiscated as you went in the door.

I still had a good time. Have fun.

Kerry can't lick Bush.

Is that the latest quote from Theresa?

More seriously, that's the one most likely to show up on TV's around the country. It is technically clean, so it'll make it past the various editors and censors.

Of course, I'd like to see it say "Kerry won't lick Bush!" It conveys the same surface thought about a Bush victory, yet the implication is worse for Kerry.

"its our money not yours! stop spending it"

"Remember, SMALL government"

"the Constitution, still relevant"

Remember the 1st! (Who signed Campaign Finance "Reform"?)

Remember the 2nd! (Nonsensical support for AWB, read USA Today)

Remember the War on Terror? (Pilots should be packing)

Disappointed and disgusted, I may still hold my nose...but he isn't making it easy. Yeah, there's a difference between W' and John F. K'...but the gap seems to be narrowing by the day...

So "deleted by Art's Gramma" would not be clean then?

:D

********
No. No it wouldn't. :)

How about simply, "MOLON LABE"??????

If nothing else, the uninformed will ask you what it means.

No signs? So, the 1st amendment is null and void then?

Funny, I don't remember being taught German in school and how to burn books, but maybe I was absent that day.
