I'm moving soon. Should I order from Dillon now?

I am selling my house in NY and moving to Tenn or Florida 7/15/13. The new VERY restrictive gun control laws in NY are spurring this move.

Anyway, I need a few powder dies and some minor stuff from Dillon. The last order of 550b heads and caliper change kits took a solid 7 weeks and the order was messed up and had to be corrected.

Should I order this only when I reach my new location?

I think their back-order log is bigger than ever but there is no way to really tell.... Calling them on the phone is a 2 hour deal.

I just got a 17-day turnaround on a bunch of 650 pieces and parts, including a case feeder and an AT500 powder die and funnel for my 550, so I can use it for loading rifle.

Ordered in early May, and even got Sat delivery from Dillon!

Just to be safe, I'd order once you have the new address in your new, gun-friendly location.

Are you going to temporary housing wherever you move or right into a house?..Personally, I would wait until I was settled - as someone who has moved over 15 times in 30 years, it takes a lot out of you as you accumulate more "stuff"........ you'll be fretting over whether or not a box got lost, etc. Why add another one to the list? Focus on the move and getting settled, then place the order - a little patience is a good thing.
BTW, FL has no income tax or 9%+ sales tax like TN......... ;)....(and we have babes in bikinis on the beach)

I ordered another 1050 last month and had it two weeks later.
