I've heard a lot of talk about IMPEACH this guy or that one and so on.

WHO would REALLY vote or support IMPEACHMENT of President Bush?

VOTE NOW.

IMPEACH HIM NOW!

NO, DO NOT IMPEACH HIM!

I can't in good faith vote for impeachment as I have yet to see evidence of Malfeasance of office. At least by the standards currently applied to our elected representatives.

I think that constitutionally, probably every president since FDR could (and should) have been impeached. Of course, a few presidents out the door and the rest might start to get the idea. They would have to get impeached for the right reasons (approving unconstitutional laws, issuing unconstitutional "executive orders," etc.).

He may've done some seriously weird and unpopular stuff, but impeachment is serious business--and I don't think he's warrented that. If some of these crazys really believe he knew about 9/11 in advance, is only in iraq for the oil, has a machine in Halliburton's possession that creates hurricanes and natural disasters, or some of the other psyhco stuff they claim and are using those as reasons to vote for impeachment, then maybe they need their head examined.

If there's something they have hard proof for, like perjury, etc, then they should show the evidence, and maybe. But as it sits, no.

Yes. For the treason he has perpetrated upon this country by enabling the Mexican invasion.
No, I'm not kidding.

Biker

Ditto.

Forget the anti-war moonbats, as mentioned earlier. He betrays this country every day the border remains open.

No.

If there's probable cause he's committed a felony in office, then by all means. To date I haven't seen any evidence of such.

Exactly... The majority of people that want to impeach Bush want to do so either because they disagree with his political decisions or they do not like him personally because they still feel that they were cheated a victory in a past election. Impeachment should be reserved for the commission of a crime not as pay back for unpopular decisions or personal dislike.

If lying about oral sex from an Intern can get you impeached surely the following should count:

Lying about the cause of a war.
Suspending Habeas Corpus.
Using signing statements as a form of line item vetoing.
Keeping Rumsfield around at all.
Illegal Wiretaps.
Lying about not wanting to Nation build.
Lying about wanting a smaller govt.
The current VP giving no bid contracts to his own company.
The current VP divulging the identity of an undercover CIA Agent to try to stifle those speaking out against the war.

I'm all for impeaching him. The lies regarding the reasons for the war. The Border. The Patriot act. etc etc etc.

But to be fair, 80-90% of Congress should be impeached too.

Some of you people with all due respect

Need to read up on your civics about the elements required for impeachment.

And, by the way, I think it was a mistake to impeach Clinton.

No. I don't like a lot of what he's done and said, even after voting for him twice, but impeachment isn't justified in any way. What high crime or misdemeanor did he commit? When was he ever adjudicated guilty of treason?

Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution states:
“ The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

There are plenty of reasons to impeach him. But I would rather we impeach Cheney first as he is way worse than Bush.

What high crime or misdemeanor did he commit?

I'd think lying under oath about Iraq being a threat and having WMDs would be a start.

The Downing Street Memo should have been enough but nope he is still in office even after making up a reason to goto war.

Just Kidding

Please note my signature is a JOKE......

AL SHARPTON and JESSIE are two of the worst fools around, in my opinion.

Yet, there are folks aplenty who would use their vote on them. AMAZING.

Before any of my friends begin to think I moved the mobile home too close to the power lines.....

PLEASE vote. It is the ONLY way Americans can change anything. :D

Awww, the flapping of the moonbats.

Reoiv.

You need to stop smoking that stuff. It makes you moonbatty.
Each one of your statements is flat false. Sorry to let you know this. If you honestly believe any of these, please drop in some supporting links.

Lying under oath..... What grand jury was he in front of? hmmmm?

I'm about as p*ssed off at President Bush as I can ever remember being at any president, Clinton included. I just don't see where it meets the 'high crimes and misdemeanors' requirement. I could be wrong.

If I am, then tell the Senate to 'get some'.
