Already been tried. The range masters are not dummy's . If they even suspect
that the revolver doesen't have enough over travel, they remove the trigger
guard and check. If the trigger has more over travel with the guard removed
than with it installed, then it is acting as a trigger stop. Not allowed. You see the
range masters are also shooters. They know every trick in the book. That are
also personal friends of mine, they don't let anybody or anything slide. All
business like it should be. I been thinking about taking the class and being a
range master myself. Can't wait until I inspect the wife's gun !!!

It would still be cool for open class or just for a recreational shooter who doesn't want a stop screw showing in the back of the trigger guard.

And, I still think you and Doak should collaborate on a book.

The shocking part is this revolver is IMO in such poor condition.

Still even after as meany cleanings as ive given this gun, scrubbed it and lapped it about 5 different times with Remington 40X to heavy and fine grit valve compound when i run a patch down the barrel on this brass remington i feel the pitting snag the cleaning patch its that bad.

But it still out shoots any of my other BP pistols so far.

The first sot was a flyer becasue i was still a little winded from posting the target. The 5 other shots were dead center. The bull was a 1" round sticker "shoot n see dot" so it tore the center out.

I cant wait to see how good the others can shoot that are in way better condition as this one.

I really felt that once i cut the barrel down ide never get it to shoot good i never expected this.

Until kwhi43 came along, I didn't know how much I didn't know!:uhoh:

Jaymo, I'm afraid, between the two of us, it'd end up being an encyclopedia...I could write the introduction.
