IMR 7828 vs. IMR 7828 SSC
Can I use the data for IMR 7828 when I am using IMR 7828 SSC? I understand that is OK. Does the velocity stay the same with the same charge, or is it slightly different? Any experience out there?

Those powders are identical except for the length of the kernels. You use the same powder charge and they're ballistically identical.

    Yes by weight ....

The SC may takes up less room in a case ... this is good when working with compressed charges ...

I use lots of IMR 7828 in my .25/06 and my .243 Win. ... some of the charges are compressed and the IMR 7828 SC allows less compression...
