Anyone used IMR Whitehots ?? Have read good and bad things about them but need real world hunters imfo. on them. There are only 72 per box that's no big deal but do they work ?? :banghead:

Last fall i scoped and sighted in two muzzleloaders for hunters who desired to use IMR White Hot pellets. White Hots work very well. They light much easier and are more consistent than 777 pellets and are more powderful than Pyrodex pellets.

Are White Hots made from white powder (saltpeter/sugar)?

Have a box, with my limited experience, they worked OK for me. Some forums claim they are underpowered-No clue here, they went bang and cleaned up very easily.

Got a new Accura and have decided to go with IMR Whitehots with T-7 primers and just have to wait for the order to come in. Form some of the videos I've seen and from what CVA has in the box my Accura came in they recommend them. Looking forward to getting it sighted in and see what happens from there. Good hunting.
