1. Deport the illegals.

nope...were going to grant them all amnesty.

2. Overthrow the liberal regime in the Governor's mansion.

nope....he's there to stay....and we just handed the libs the congress and the White House is soon to follow.

Time to turn the military loose in cities like L.A. to hunt down and clean out the gangs.

aint gonna happen.

Nope, were going to incarcerate these "boys" for about 5 years, during which time they'll become the real deal in the prison gang recruiting grounds and then be turned loose to do it all over again....and worse.

All on the tax payers dime.

I hate to say it, but we've met our worst enemy in the good ol' U.S. of A. and it's "us"....we kicked God out of our culture and now we're wondering why our culture is going to hell.

What is really pathetic is the editorial cartoon that the Newark Star Ledger ran...Maybe instead of using rifles and pistols to spell the name of the city, they could use the phrases, "liberal/revolving door justice system, wide open/porous borders, poor/bad/absentee parenting, and high rates of illegitimate births". At least then it would be truthful. I can't wait for us to escape from this state. :cuss:

Move to Texas. We could use more people like you here. We don't have an issue with people protecting their liberty and living free here. And our economy is great too.

We've had it beaten into our head how WRONG vigilantism is, in many ways it is too but to never happen is shame in many ways also. This or these kinda people should be eliminated from society. If you wanna hang with em and you get caught up in the mix,, oh well,
Last I heard citizenry groups were severely hurting the street crime in cities in Brazil to bad we don't have a little bit here.

There is always the cry of innocents being targeted and I am sure a few would but how many innocents are living in a neighborhood under gang rule in a state of tyranny now. It needs to be stopped and if the authorities won't then society should.

IMHO belonging to a violent gang such as we have involving illegal drugs should be a instant death sentence. C-Ya, your gone and won't get out and be back, done, dead, final.

We don't need new laws or the military or more taxes, we just need to stop coddling and enabling this sort of behavior and redirect what enforcement is doing now. cease this state of PC idiocy we have descended into, and do something about it.

Is It Too Late?

In early 2006, the 109th Congress passed a controversial bill which grants the President the right to commandeer Federal or even State National Guard Troops and use them inside the United States. This bill, entitled the John Warner Defense Appropriation Act for Fiscal Year 2007 (H.R. 5122.ENR), contains a provision, (Section 1076) which allows the President to:

“...employ the armed forces, including the National Guard in Federal service, to...

restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition in any State or possession of the United States..., where the President determines that,...domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order; suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy...” [3] Senator Patrick Leahy and others have condemned Section 1076 because it effectively nullifies the Posse Comitatus Act and the Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C. 331-335) and gives the President the legal ability to define under what conditions martial law may be declared. [4]

Note: H.R.5122 was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on April 6, 2006, as H.R.5122 by Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA). On May 5, 2006, Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK) introduced another version of the bill, H.Res.806, followed by H.Res.811 on May 11, 2006, and H.Res.1062 on September 29, 2006. In the U.S. Senate, Sen. John Warner introduced S.2507 on April 4, 2006, followed by S.2766 on May 9, 2006, and S.2766 on May 9, 2006. Section 1076 appears only in the final signed version of the bill (Public Law No: 109-364, October 17, 2006): Title X--General Provisions, Sec. 1076, Use of Armed Forces in major public emergencies. The Congressional Record (Page H8151 and Page H8152 shows Section 1076 as amended September 29, 2006, in the U.S. House of Representatives as a change to Section 333 of title 10, United States Code.

Wasn't the national guard or the army called out in the 60's to quell riots? Why didn't that fall under Posse Commitatus? Just curious... How about when George Wallace tried to block the black students from attending the white college back then? Wasn't it the nat guard?

We've had it beaten into our head how WRONG vigilantism is,

Our elected officals in many urban areas have refused to honor their commitments to society. Instead they pander to special interest groups and use their authority to abuse and regulate honest citizens. When criminal enterprises such as gangs are allowed to exist, flourish, expand and grow than we have clear evidence that the legal system has failed.

When the legal and judicial system refuses to perfom its function properly that leaves society two choices. Roll over, surrender and die. Or, act. Take back the streets, fight back and if necessary destroy the criminal element.
Visiting violence upon gangsters is only vigilantism if we act before the legal system has a chance to do its job. When they refuse to do their job it is no longer appropriate to describe a person taking action against crime as a vigilante. They are merely excercising the right of defense.

>The government should clear out hazards such as
> bushes and weeds from public areas and install
> lots of lighting.

A minor quibble. While lighting up the night like daytime often seems like the thing to do, most of this crime happens in broad daylight and lighted areas. The bad guys don't go away if you just turn on enough light... They like to see what they're doing and have a clear view of their surroundings. Get rid of the bad guys. Let night happen.

“It’s definitely a better area up here than the rest of Newark,” said Chris Yearty, who has lived next to the complex for nearly 30 years. Many people went there, he said, “to have a better life.”

But it is no shock that even a Newark housing success can have its dark corners. Some of the 10 buildings — chiefly the four along Manor Place — have been plagued by garbage and mischief, residents say. Drug dealing nearby is hardly uncommon. Parties could get out of hand. Cars were stolen. Lights were broken. Fists could fly, and weapons could be brandished.

Its a better area than the rest of Newark? What kind of post-apocalyptic hellhole is the rest of Newark?

A little more perspective...

As part of my job, I attend trauma rounds at the largest hospital in Newark every Monday. In addition to the sensational murder stories that make the national news, we generally have a pretty large number of new GSW's reported during rounds every Monday. It's always worse during the summer as more dirtbags are out and about. Some are treated and released (all are reported to the local PD) and the more serious are admitted. Last Monday I believe we had eight new GSW patients over the weekend. Remember, this is only one of the hospitals in Newark...and I can't legally carry to protect myself :cuss::banghead:
We hope to be out of this state within the next year, G-d willing.

"Make African Americans finally take responsibility for their race, no more excuses, no more living under the cloak of "The struggle and victimhood."
That's odd- I work with lots of African-Americans, who just like me work for a living and are productive people. Just as "collective rights" are an oxymoron so are "collective excuses." One African-American gentleman I worked with did just what the poster suggested. He bought an FTL Auto-9 and a Star PD (this was a long time ago) and took on responsibility for his own safety, having been mugged before in one of the liberal-socialist utopias. The system that releases illegal aliens to continue their depradations is responsible for this atrocity.
