In your opinion, Best DEAL on handguns today

I've ended up selling most of handguns and find myself left with just a Keltec PF9

You already have a PF9... but I think that is perhaps the best "deal" in the civilian market for an general purpose handgun today. The PF9's are selling brand new (blued ones) around here for $279+tax. Granted, I like my more expensive guns too, but it is hard to beat a reliable, concealable, shootable 9mm for under $300.

As far as a service gun... I would just use your LEO pricing and get the Glock of your choice. Looks like you can get a new gen4 with factory night sights + 3 mags for about ~$460... hard to beat that too.

At this very moment, as we speak, as in right now, SOG is offering Walther P99s with two 16-round magazines for $399 and change. And that is a good buy, friends, by anyone's standards.

update....

I ended up with multiple Glock 22s (used with night sights for low $300s) and a Sig 2022. Thinking about buying another 2022 as a local dealer has a mint used (night sights + 2 mags) for $399. Same price as new but its here and no shipping or transfer charges. Local LE Agency is selilng there Sig 226s in 40sw for $290 so buying several of those also. Going back to intent of thread now I think the Sig 2022 is the best "deal" among major vendors, excellent trigger and overall pistol with night sights for $399 new. SOG has HK 40 USPs for ~$459 that should probably be on considered list also with the P99 deal from them.

A lot of great deals being mentioned for sure. Another one I like is a Sig P6. With a little work on the feed ramp (to properly feed HP) you have yourself a great carry gun.

How about a new FN 9mm w/3 mags for $450 at Bud's? That looks like a good deal to me.

Ive found that Ruger usually has the best deals on their guns. Most are priced on the low end, but preform as well as the high end ones. Also reminds me of those sugar wafers named Ruger you can get in vending machines, lol. Those are about average priced as far as sugar wafers are concerned.

I'm with The Sarge in advocating the Stoeger (Beretta) Cougar. It's a nicely finished pistol that is not quite full sized, but not small either. They can be had for about $400 new. Here is mine with Beretta grips added:

The new S&W Sigma (with the rebate) is the best deal in the gun market right now. I'd look at a sigma, if I were you.

Since the site says FFL purchase only, do I need an FFL to order it for me? Or do I order it and have it delivered to an FFL like a normal online purchase?

SOG is dealer only. Your FFL will have to order (and add their markup). However if your C&R "Dealer" you can order for same wholesale price and just have it shipped to an FFL. Easy and cheap to get a C&R, everyone should have one.

My CZPO1 outshoots my Sig(226)at the 25yrd line, everyone in my family loves shooting the little thing, it's ergonomically as close to perfect as you are likely to get, it's slide rides inside the rails which is one of the reasons it's so dead on, a feature that also lends it the strength to eat tens of thousands of rounds of ammo, fit and finish are superb, all for just $459.00...

The best deal I have gotten in a while, was a new Ruger P89 for $279. I bought it strictly because of the low price and the positive things I had heard about this gun. I curently have 11 9mm pistols. This is the most accurate in my hands anyway. It also has the least recoil. It has never jammed, and feels good in my hands. It is big and clunky, and not the prettiest, but I would rate it as highly as my sigs, hk's, glocks, s&W's etc in terms of function.

I picked up a Stoeger Cougar on Friday for $299 in absolutely mint condition, then ordered wooden Beretta grips with the medallion for $20 from CDNN. wbwanzer posted a pic of his with those same grips and it is nice! Can't wait to go shooting at lunch tomorrow!

My son picked up a Sigma in 9mm last week for $320 at Academy. He finally got to shoot it yesterday and said he likes it better than my Glock 19. I compared them side by side and will admit the Sigma does have a slightly better feel in my hand thanks to a little longer grip. If I had to do it over again, I would probably go with the Sigma, which will be $270 after he gets the $50 rebate. I paid $419 for my G19 with the LEO program. Still need to shoot the Sigma to make a final recommendation, though.
