Recently bought a new Walther PPX in 9mm for at the $300 mark. It has been great so far after a few hundred rounds is threaded for my suppressor once it gets out of jail.

a lot of these suggestions are too close to other pistols i already have on my list.. a 1911 build is on my list so i wont be considering any of those right now, and i think the star model B is too close to the 1911 that i might as well skip the star (unless someone has a good reason for me not to), walther PPQ is on my list (so i wont consider the PPX), and i may have a source for a custom made steel beretta 92 frame, so not really considering the taurus PT92

unfortunately between my two dogs and the last two months i've had to spend $800 in vet bills alone, so that pretty much destroyed my budget
