I'm looking for info on a m1 garand that is marked "m1 beretta cal .30 ARMI ROMA E" on the back of the receiver and has beretta parts all through out. I've researched this some and cannot find anything like it online. Anyone know anything about it?

Beretta made Garands under license for a time after WWII before they started building BM59s.

Italians produced M1 Garand rifles using surplused Winchester machinery for themselves, the Danish Militay, and the Yemeni Government.

Rifles were produced first in .30/06 and later in 7.62X51 calibers.

Rifles were produced for military use until the early 1970s and commercial production continued into the early 1980s with Rock Island Armory being a principle importer in the United States.

Italians also produced the BM-59/BM-62 select fire rifles which are based on the M1 Garand but using a refined gas system and detachable box magazine from the late 1950s until the late 1970s at least.

It is more common to find rifles displaying a mix of Beretta and Breda made parts than a rifle featuring all Beretta made parts.

No unfortunately it is not mine but my grandma's. I am just trying to find out a little more about it. I realize that Beretta made garands after WWII but i was kind of interested in the markings on the back of the receiver because i haven't seen that before anywhere.
