Can anyone point me in the right direction to locate IDPA rules and the ins and outs thereof?
My #1 shooting buddy has joined the Marines and he and I won't have many chances to shoot. I have heard a bit about IDPA and it sounds like it's right up my alley. I googled IDPA and found a page with very little info for a "just starting" shooter. Thanks

Your best bet would be to go to the IDPA website, find a club in your area, and get in touch with the match director. He/she will be able to get you started.

And take the time to read and understand the IDPA Rulebook. Its always amazing for me to SO someone after they have been shooting for five or six months, and they still have no clue what the rules say.
