I own a Marlin 336C Lever Action, .35 Cal Rem, which I purchased in mid
1970's. The rifle is in excellent condition and I am thinking about selling it. I am uncertain at this point as to its market value.

The Blue Book of Gun Values knows a lot more about that than I do.

I do know that a lot of people like a Marlin with no crossbolt safety, and the .35 Rem is rarer than .30-30 and has a cult following.

So, it might take a while to find the right buyer, but the right buyer may be willing to pay more for that rifle than the common .30-30, or one with a safety.

check the CLOSED auctions on the three main sites for what they have sold for. Also look at gunsinternational.com (NOT an auction site) and you can get an idea of what they will sell for generally, if listed on the net. Whether they will get that much FTF where you live might be a different story

I picked one up last year at a local gunshop. It's a 1951 model, beautiful shape, with a nice clear Bushnell scope on it.
$300 OTD

Good advice, you beat me to it.
