I received two new toys from Natchez Shooters Supplies, today.(a week ago) Of course they are not old enough to give a durability report, but I will say that I am excited about the ownership of both.
The LaserLyte Trainer Cartridge was purchased to pair with my 9mm Springfield EMP. I use the EMP as one of my CC weapons as well as my under the mattress presentation. For those unfamiliar, the cartridge is a red laser with a monetary switch, triggered by the weapon’s firing pin strike on a snap cap base. It fits into the In other words, a 1911 style pistol can be cocked & shot. A striker pistol will have to be racked and fired each time.
A week later & the operation is still solid and makes this laser a wonderful addition as a training tool. After a very short time of getting use to it, you can really tell when you pull a shot or fail to squeeze the trigger smoothly. I venture to say that it forces you to to squeeze properly and concentrate on the basics. Not much more to say except that when the family is out of the house, it allows you to move and shoot within the house, making you the true king of your domain; at least where paper plates are concerned...
