I have a Sar USA b6 that I've had for about 6 months. In that 6 months it has become my favorite handgun. Reliable, accurate and just feels right in these old hands.
Old hands = Old Eyes.
I see Sar USA has front and rear night sights for the b6. But, To me the front sight doesn't look replaceable. At least I can't see how it would be. No pins or screws or dovetail I can see.
Anybody know how or if a Sar b6 front sight is removable.
Sar says their sights are "Injection molded "Sleeve" design?? What is that??

Haven't handled one, but all sights are removable, even those milled as an integral part of the slide. Your's may be a longitudinal slot from the front with a transverse pin, a well fit cross dovetail, or integral to the slide. I would have to handle one to determine. Break out your magnifying glass and look closely under good lighting.

The sleeve is just for the tritium tube, not the entire sight. The sight is steel.

Geez, Now I'm embarrassed. You are absolutely Right.
With the help of magnifying and a light I can see a longitudinal dovetail And a Pin.
Old hands = Even Older eyes, I guess. Thanks

I have owned a B 6 for sometime and really like it. Up front I wasn't very fond of it's grip but traction grips solved that little problem. With no need for corrective lens anymore I am fine with the standard sights but it's nice to know there is an alternative available now.
