Your opinion doesn't seem to match up with everything i'm reading
Probably not the last time that will happen. :D

With respect to 1Kperday's Tanker Garand, these are well-known problematic modifications of the Garand that are independently unrelated to the condition of Blue Sky/Arlington Ordnance's imports of Garands and Cabines in the 80s/90s.
Quite likely. Hacker's experience is greater than mine with respect to the Blue Skys.

Bottom line, don't buy it just because it's a Carbine. Have someone who knows what to look for check it out first. This pretty much sums it up:
The fact is that some are great and some are complete crap.

$800 seems high. I recently paid $600 for a nice Inland with no import cartouches. Because there are so many of these available, I'd pass. The lack of at least one mag is a bit on the stingy side - another turn off, if just on principle.

The good deals are still out there. What you see advertised on the internet are speculators and dealer's guns. All of the really good deals are found locally at gun clubs and talking to co-workers. Just about everything that is in a store or advertised is over priced.

Goes double true at gun shows as well.....but again there are always that one good deal out there.
