I have a mix master Inland that fails to eject about every 10 rounds. It extracts but the slide closes on the spent round and prevents the fresh round from chambering.
My handloads were all CCI 450 primers, Accurate #9, cases trimmed to 1.285" and Sierra 110 FMJ. I did notice that all my problems started with hotter ammo. I started with 11.5 grns of #9 which were fine and went up to 12 grn. loads and the FTE's. I don't think this is the problem though. Brass is all range pick ups so I can't isolate that.
I ordered a USGI bolt kit and will rebuild it to eliminate that part of the equation. I have no history on the gun. Maybe a slide spring? Any other ideas?
