I've got the X5 and X1. The X5 makes a better fist load/kubaton.

X5 has more flood than your T2. It makes for a better work light up close. T2 has more throw to illuminate objects at a distance. Go with an XO or X03.

I have an X1. Love the thing. It fits snuggly in my back pocket next to my wallet, it's light weight, and bright enough to dazzle. My main reason for choosing it over an X5 was the battery requirements. AAs are cheap, easy to aquire, and can be found in rechargeables.

Oh, and they make/have made two variations of the X1. One (the older one, I think) just has a flat lense up front. It'll throw a perfect, ever-widening circle of light, with almost no flood beyond that. The other type has a more traditional looking LED and reflector set up. I haven't played with one of these out of the package, but I seem to remember reading that they have similar throw, but lots more flood.
