I had some one give me a Kimber flat MSH they no longer used
I did install it in the SA 1911 and found I hand problems trying to get the lower pin to exit the other side of the frame.
My easy fix was to open the exit side of the MSH a tad (on one side)now the pin goes threw the frame with no problems
Will I have Any Problem using the Kimber flat MSH

Sounds like either the frame or the housing is drilled crooked.

It should fit any 1911 frame if the holes are right in both.

I think the Kimber MSH was a tad off center my ARCHED MSH from SA lines up perfect
I did notice the Kimber a little tight also sliding into the frame
I just want to see how I would like the Flat MSH compared to my arched housing :I did try it in the frame seem I have better control as far as wrapping the hand around the frame handle grips;I have medium size hands and the thin grips make a world of difference
