Integrally Suppressed AR-15 9mm

What is the rundown on the integrally suppressed 9mm AR-15's? Who makes the best suppressors for them? How quiet are they? How do they sound compared to a suppressed MP-5? Thanks.

isn't that just a suppressor on the end of an sbr AR? i thought integrally supressed were built into the barrel, IE not removable

I was interested in ones in which the entire barrel was suppressed. Unless I am mistaken, I do believe that these integrally suppressed AR's exist. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am having a difficult time finding them and even if I would find them, I am not sure which integrally suppressed 9mm AR's are the best. Thanks.

Colt makes integrally suppressed 9mm uppers (as well as complete guns). You can probably find some for sale at a LEO supplier, if you've got the paperwork in order.

The one on the bottom is how Colt offers them:

The 9mm AR is recoil operated. No porting needed.

That would be an extra $200 stamp. Look close it's welded.

That barrel is, at least in the eyes of the ATF a suppressor. You can drill ports like some do and have it run almost the entire length but I reload 147's subsonic and don't need to bleed the gas off of 115 grain bullets to get them to run subsonic.

Not sure what to say on this one, it doesn't make any sense. Even if 9mm AR's were gas operated and they are not, ports would take gas away that would be needed further down the barrel to cycle the action.
