“Banning guns addresses a fundamental right of Americans to feel safe”.
United States Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) .

Last time I looked, there was a significant difference between "feeling safe" and actually being safe. Other than that, exactly where did the senator find this particular right written? I do not believe that any such stipulation, specification or "right" appears ANYWHERE in The Bill of Rights or other part of The Constitution.

I could be wrong though, of course so could the lady from California .

I am not defending the gentlelady from California, but can we find something a little more recent to complain about?

This quote was from 1993...14 years ago. C'mon...lets get some NEW quotes from the gentlelady :)

I'm just curious as to why anyone would call Finkelstein a "gentlelady". She is a consumate politician who will get down in the trenches and knife anyone and everyone in the back as needed for her own personal gain. She has no morals, no standards and no convictions except the burning desire to rule all those she believes is lesser than her. And that apparently is everyone. She is a cold hearted evil b****h cut from the same piece of satanic cloth as billary clinton, the only thing she can be counted on is to seek personal power and privilege. And the really scary thing is the same thing can be said for a significant number of others residing inside the beltway ostensibly "serving their constituents".

You might be correct re the historical context, as you would be re her "turn them all in...".The important question, as I view things is as follows: Has she changed her tune? She hasn't, I didn't think so.

It's a figure of speech. I never thought that she was worth the matches it would take to set her on fire, still don't.
