International Hazmat Fees?

Are the Hazmat fees for international shipments the reason nobody will bring in Berdan primers? I have several thousand pieces of 7.5 x 55 Swiss brass that is looking at an early retirement if I can't find a source of these primers. I know that PMC brought in a shipment or two from Russia a few years back but now I can't find a source for them anywhere. Anyone know if there are any dealers planning to bring these primers into the States or would they have to be imported by an ammunition manufacturer? Any suggestions on how to get some of these primers from overseas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unlike Boxer primers, there are many sizes of Berdan primers. Some are common, some not. Otherwise, I dunno.

A while back there was a thread somewhere about converting berdan brass to boxer. I tried it out on a few shells and it was labor intensive, but worked.

The only brass it worked really well on was 7.5 Swiss. If you can't find berdan primers and don't want to go to the trouble of converting them, don't throw them away. There are people that would be glad to buy them from you.
