Internet Sales of Ammo,UT OH...

My Sons who Lives in Southern Ohio, Gun Country, whos neighbor is a Retired Police officer [Sheriff] tried to buy Ammo for his new 2 Firearms was Re contacted by Federal today That they were Refunding his Money for the 5,000 rounds of ammon he purchased earlier this Week with the notification that at present they were not having internet sales at this time ,HMMM anyone purchased Ammo over the internet this week and received it...The Time seems to be at hand already..what BS...

where is there internet ammo sales of 5k rounds???? i looked around online and everything except the high end stuff was all sold out... ive never seen it this bad some places had 7.62 x 39 backed order expected due sept 2013... thats BAD!

I too would be curious if it was in fact Federal (the manufacturer) that contacted him or the online website he ordered from (more likely).

I'd bet it was the retailer that contacted him as well. and if they have a very short supply of ammo they may reserve it for in store sales. Nothing nefarious, except that they cancelled existing orders (which is very bad form).
