I asked about this a while abck and got some good responses. Now, I'm in need of help again. I live in ME and my in-laws live in TX. My father-in-law wants a mil-spec plain-jane 1911. He's the type that won't just go buy one and won't even go to the shops in his area cause he hates to drive. he's basically just finding excuses to not get himself one even thoguh he's always saying how he wants one. I've decided that I'm just going to buy him one myself as a gift - nice son-in-law that I am:D Now...here's the problem. I really don't see him doing a yellow form for it. He'll say I shouldn't have and not accept it. (proberly use the time to go to do the form as an excuse). Getting it there isn't a problem since family and I are going down later this year anyways. Is there any way to "leave my gun" there. He's legal to buy it's just he's very stubborn about things.
C'mon fellas help me please!:(

In case anyone is wondering, it's proberly gonna be a Springfield parkerized mil-spec model.

NO! I will NOT marry any of your daughters so you can get it either! :neener:
